HOW TO USE

The KK SL-68A is designed to run effortlessly as long as the following guidelines are followed.

Ensure your power supply matches the machine rating.

+ At 220V, the circuit should have at least a 15A fuse.
+ At 110V, at least a 30A fuse.

The outlet must have leakage protection and proper grounding.

Make sure all guards and trays are fitted correctly and sitting flat so the safety switches engage.

Press Start.

Feed fresh, boneless meat into the opening steadily and evenly.

Allow the machine to pull the meat through and slice automatically into the collection tray.

Press Stop when finished.

In emergencies, press Emergency Stop.

Reset it by turning clockwise once the issue has been resolved.

Always unplug the machine first.

Disassembly

1. Remove the feed tray and any guard plates as shown in the manual.
2. Loosen the designated locking knobs or bolts securing the knife set.
3. RCarefully slide out the knife set assembly, holding it with both hands to avoid contact with edges.

Assembly

1. Slide the cleaned, dry knife set back into position, ensuring it is fully seated on the axle.
2. Tighten locking knobs/bolts securely.
3. Refit the guards and feed tray so that all safety interlocks can reset correctly.

Do not slice frozen meat or bones as this can damage the knife set and drive system.

Use well-trimmed, chilled meat for the cleanest cut. If you can’t cut it cleanly with a knife it’s not recommended to feed it through the KK JQ68.

Keep hands and tools away from the feed path.

The unit is water certified IPX1 which means you can safely wipe down the unit but do not spray the body or submerge in water.

Remove the feed tray and knife set for cleaning after each use.

Wash all food-contact parts in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.

Apply a light coat of cooking oil to exposed metal surfaces of the knife set to prevent rust and aid lubrication.

Reassemble all parts correctly so the safety switch resets before the next use.
