HOW TO USE
The JQ-48 is built to run safely and smoothly, as long as you power it correctly and follow a steady workflow. Here’s how to use it with confidence from setup to cleaning.
Make sure your power supply matches the machine rating.
+ At 220V, the circuit should have at least a 15A fuse. + At 110V, at least a 30A fuse.
The outlet must have leakage protection and proper grounding.
Ensure the feed tray is fitted correctly and sitting flat so the safety switch works.
Press Start.
Feed fresh, boneless meat into the opening steadily and evenly.
Press Stop when finished.
In emergencies, press Emergency Stop.
Reset it by turning clockwise once the issue is fixed.
Disassembly
1. Remove the feed tray.
2. Loosen the locking bolt 5–10 mm counterclockwise.
3. Rotate the tee tube 45° clockwise and pull it out.
4. Remove the hilt cap, perforated plate, four-leaf blade, screw feeder, nylon spacer, and tube.
Assembly
1. Insert the tee tube at a 45° angle and rotate it upright.
2. Tighten the locking bolt.
3. Insert the screw feeder securely.
4. Install the four-leaf blade (flat side outward), perforated plate, nylon spacer, and hilt cap.
Disassembly
1. Remove the feed tray.
2. Rotate the adjusting screw nut counterclockwise and remove the spring.
3. Pull out the entire knife set by holding both sides.
Assembly
1. Insert the knife set with the bearing.
2. Align the slot with the axle by adjusting M30.
3. Install the spring sleeve and tighten the adjusting screw nut (about 10N).
4. Replace the food tray.
Do not grind frozen meat or bones. This will damage the machine.
Meat size limits for slicing (JQ-48 model):
- Width: ≤100 mm
- Thickness: ≤40 mm
- Slice thickness: ≤3.0 mm
The standard knife set is 10 mm. Optional 5 mm sets available.
Custom thickness available (3–40 mm).
For grinding: meat should be ≤45 mm thick and cut into smaller pieces.
Always use the provided pestle.
Always unplug the machine first.
Water protection is IPX1: spray water vertically only. Never spray water when the tray is removed.
Wash the feed tray, tee tube and knife set after each use.
Apply a light coat of cooking oil to prevent rust and help lubrication.
For deep cleaning, remove the blade guard and knife set. Do not touch blades with bare hands.
Reassemble all parts properly so the safety switch resets.

After each use, unplug the machine, remove all removable parts, wash and dry them thoroughly, occasionally lubricate the feed screw and gears with food-safe lubricant, and check the knife and plate for wear. Doing this keeps performance consistent.
