Sweet first, then a small amount of heat at the back.
The chilli is gentle. That makes this the blend for when half the table can’t handle spice and the other half wants some.
It’s a batch pack premix, so the seasoning arrives already balanced for a full batch. Mix it through your mince and go.
Works on beef, pork or a mix of both. Also good in grillers, including for kids who’d usually pick a wors apart looking for the bits they don’t like.
The sweetness does something useful on the fire. It catches and caramelises on the outside while the inside stays juicy.

Freddy Hirsch has been milling and blending spice in Cape Town since 1956. This blend comes out of that same facility, which is why it tastes the way it does back home.
