1 × Heavy duty castor set, fitted
1 x Crated in a plywood box on a pallet
1 x 3mm blade set

The KK SL-72Q is a commercial fresh meat slicer for butcheries and meat processors. It handles boneless beef, pork, lamb and biltong at up to 800kg an hour through a 170 by 110mm feed opening, driven by a 750W motor in a commercial stainless steel body on heavy duty castors.

Hand slicing is where a busy butchery loses its morning. Two people on the bench, thickness all over the place, and a bin of offcuts that should have been product.

This takes the same job down to a feed and a catch. Even thickness matters most when the next step is drying, because thin slices go hard while thick ones are still wet in the middle.

About this item

Built for the morning rush

Turns a morning into half an hour

Rated at 800kg an hour. Whatever your bench crew gets through by hand, this does it in a fraction of the time and frees them for work that pays better.

Every slice the same thickness

An even 3mm across the load. For chilli bites and jerky that is the whole game, because a batch dries at the rate of its thickest piece.

Slabs go in whole

170 by 110mm feed opening, so meat gets cut to size once instead of trimmed to fit first.

Push it where the work is

Heavy duty castors under 67kg. Roll it to the bench, roll it to the wash bay.

Runs on single phase

750W. Order it in 230V for New Zealand and Australia and it goes into a standard commercial socket.

Fewer offcuts in the bin

A feed and a catch instead of two people on a bench. Consistent cuts mean product that would have been trimmings ends up as product.

Straight answer

Is it worth the money?

Work out what a morning of hand slicing costs you: two people on the bench, a bin of offcuts, and chilli bites and jerky that dries unevenly because the slices were. Then put 800kg an hour at an even 3mm against it. For a butchery that dries every week, the machine pays for itself in labour and in product that no longer ends up as trimmings.

Hand slicing vs KK72Q

Where the morning goes

By hand

Two people on the bench for the morning. Thickness all over the place, so thin slices go hard while thick ones are still wet in the middle. A bin of offcuts that should have been product.

KK72Q

One person feeding, one catching. Up to 800kg an hour at an even 3mm, so the whole batch dries at the same rate. Slabs go in whole through the 170 by 110mm opening, and the machine rolls to the wash bay when you’re done.

Questions people ask

Any last questions?

No. It is built for fresh meat. Firming a cut in the chiller is normal practice, but a solid frozen block is not what this machine is for.

The standard configuration is 3mm. Blade sets in other thicknesses may be available, so ask us before you order if you need something different.

Both are rated at 800kg an hour. Take the KK116Q if you need the larger 180 by 120mm feed opening or the machine is running all day. The KK72Q at 67kg suits a normal butchery.

Crated in a plywood box at 79kg gross, on a pallet. Two people and a trolley to get it off and into position, then the castors do the rest.

Twelve months on working parts. On industrial equipment with a major fault we can cover labour too, after a consultation, a technician report and a quotation.

Yes. Spares are listed in the Equipment Spares section of the site, and anything not listed we can quote.

Freight is free anywhere in New Zealand and everything ships tracked. Non-defective returns inside 14 days, unused and in the original packaging, with return freight on you and a 10% cancellation fee. Faulty on arrival is covered in full if you tell us within 7 days with a photo.
