| 1 × | 400mm removable food plate |

The KK SL-400 is a compact commercial bowl cutter for chopping and processing meat and other suitable foods. A 400mm plate turns the product past a high speed S shape blade running at 1,470 r/min, and the food plate lifts out for cleaning. It runs on 400W in single or three phase.
A mincer pushes meat through a plate and smears the fat as it goes. That is why a mix can come out greasy and fall apart in the pan.
A bowl cutter slices instead, so fat stays as fat and the texture holds.

About this item
Texture, not paste
A cleaner chop than a mincer gives you
The S blade slices at 1,470 r/min while the plate turns product past it. Fat stays intact, which is what keeps texture in your wors and your patties.
Even from the first handful to the last
The 400mm plate feeds product past the blade at a steady 20 r/min, so the whole batch gets the same treatment.
The plate lifts straight out
The part that gets dirty is the part designed to come away. Cleaning down is quick, every day.
Bench sized, not floor sized
670 by 480 by 410mm and 36kg. It fits in a butchery back room or a small production kitchen.
Single phase or three phase
400W. 230V single phase for a standard socket, or 380V three phase if you already have it.
More than meat
Onion, herbs and rusk for a wors mix, pâté, terrines and patties. Anything where you want texture rather than mince paste.
Straight answer
Is it worth the money?
If you already own a mincer, the question is what it does to your mix. Pushing meat through a plate smears the fat, and a greasy mix falls apart in the pan. A bowl cutter slices, so the fat stays as fat and the texture holds. For wors, patties and pâté that is the difference between product you are proud of and product that gets sent back. At 36kg on a bench, it does not need a room of its own.
Mincer vs bowl cutter
Where greasy mix comes from
Mincer
Pushes meat through a plate under pressure. Fat smears as it goes, so the mix comes out greasy, loses texture, and can fall apart in the pan.
KKSL-400
An S blade at 1,470 r/min slices while the plate turns the batch past it at 20 r/min. Fat stays as fat, texture holds, and you stop when the mix looks right instead of when the plate says so.

Onion, herbs and rusk for a wors mix all handle fine, along with other compatible foods.
The blade runs at 1,470 r/min while the plate turns product past it. How fine you go is down to how long you run it, so you stop when the mix looks right.
